Glenn E. Dennis

Glenn E. Dennis, 88, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Saturday April 6, 2024 at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born March 18, 1936, in Brilliant, OH, son of the late Everett “O.E” and May (Bucey) Dennis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith E. “Judy” (Davis) Dennis on October 21, 2006; and a son, John Dennis.

Glenn retired after 30 years from Timet where he was a machinist. He was also self-employed and owned many rental properties in the area. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Glenn was an active member of the Brilliant Christian Church and held various offices at the church. He was also a member of the Brilliant Lions Club.

Surviving are a son, Dave (Terri) Dennis of Rayland, OH; a brother, Larry (Donna) Dennis of Wintersville, OH; a sister, Nora Bouwens of Windsor Heights, WV; five grandchildren, Corey Dennis, Lauren (Nathan) Beasley, Drew Dennis, Jennifer Glasgow and her companion Chad Palmer and Josh Glasgow and his companion Amanda Wright; and eleven great-grandchildren, Hailey and Kinley Dennis, Madison, Hunter and Mackenzie Beasley, Anna and Tucker Dennis, Gavin Flaugher, Madison Glasgow and Brady and Landon Wright.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 and also on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Fulton, officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, OH.
